"What was the point of that?"

date: May 1, 2004

Why did you make this? That made no sense and is a huge contrast to your awesome "Dead Journals" of Undertaker. Plus why the Scott Keith bashing? Scott Keith ownz you any day!

el Simpson

"Funny"

submission: el Simpson
date: February 12, 2004

Graphics: Kinda skewed version of the Simpsons but very effective (7)

Sounds: I almost don't understand what they're saying (see below) but it's just funny. (9)

Interactivity: N/A

Violence: One head chop. (1)

Humour: The main funny part of this movie is seeing Homer do the Mr. Plow rap in Spanish. I just had to laugh out loud to that. Full monty. (10)

----

Overall: Small funny movie. Great job.

"Newgrounds: 3 Years Later ... NOW!"

date: February 4, 2004

Hello. I am from the present which you call the future and I've come to review this movie made in the past which you call the present. My, my, my, you have got it all wrong. StrawberryClock is the number one movie with B and CyberNet has taken over the Portal with P-Bot and A-Bot. That is why they sent the newly converted Borg Wade Fulp to murder StrawberryClock ... which is you! Yes you are the salvation to saving the Portal from the Bots and they're planning to murder you which is why I've come from the future to protect you and prevent the future you predicted from happening.

Of course, this did happen and I did save you from WadeBorg so the Portal is saved and good entries are in the Top 10 so your movie is now a novelty item. But anyway, good movie and don't forget ... be careful of P-Bot!

Howard Dean Alarm System

"LOL"

date: January 21, 2004

Graphics: Pretty decent and works very well. (8)

Sound: The sound effects and voicing (literally) is just perfect! Sounds really legitimate and convincing. (10)

Interactivity: N/A

Style: Combined with Overall

Humour: LOL! I literally can't stand Howard Dean and this scream alarm is hilarious. Forget the road to the White House, bring on the road to Oprah! (9)

Violence: His scream is violent lol. (4)

Overall: A funny little clip. Great job!

Knoxs "The Matrix" 5

"Funny"

date: October 25, 2003

Graphics: It's the Matrix imported. In some ways it could get a lower score from me but those facial expressions just make it so funny. (8)

Sound: Oh gawd, the voices are hilarious especially the bunny guy and the black guy. The voice acting _KNOX_ does is always great. (9)

Humour: Very funny just because it fits in perfectly with the movie. "I'm going to do your shoes ..." and "What did you do to me?" "I didn't even start it yet." Hilarious. (10)

Interactivity: Just a Replay button ... but who cares? (0)

Violence: Not violent ... but who cares? (0)

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: There's some people are just too critical here not to give this a high rating. A flash movie doesn't have to be just graphics, graphics, graphics. As long as it entertains me, I'll rate it high and it did. Hell, I voiceover TV shows at home while channel hopping so I love this stuff. If there's one highlight, it has to be the bunny guy, fantastic. Great job.

thanks god for that bunny guy...thank god for him indeed.... :)
we shall build a gold statue of the bunny guy and worship it!

Battle for the Portal Pt4

"Great but slightly disappointing"

date: October 18, 2003

Graphics: If there's one thing this series will be remembered by is the graphics and without a doubt, I have to give it a 10 again. (10)

Sound: Great voice acting (10) - Pube Muppet-like voices (1) + Knox's voice acting = (10)

Humour: Luigi, Foamy and Tricky pretty much gave the humour and I loved the Tricky part. (5)

Interactivity: N/A

Violence: Quite a lot of fighting in this one, although not as much as the early two. Joe Zombie is pretty much the only violent thing in the whole movie. I expected a lot more body counts in this (especially with Madness in it) but the body count is only 1, which is kinda disappointing. (7)

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: I have to be truthfull and say the ending was pretty much a let down. It had to end with pretty much a comedic ending and the way the whole movie was promoted as such from the trailer and the beginning as quite a serious series (with the slight humour from Tricky, which I did like what he did in this movie). I would have thought it would be an epic fight at the end, but nah, it was quite a joke at the end. Plus the fact that the winner of the battle didn't really deserve the title (I hate spoiling, although someone beat me to it), it was a slight letdown to me. Although the graphics are awesome and with the guest voices as well included, it's a great series overall, just a little letdown on the ending. Great series though.

Battle for the Portal Pt3

"One more to go ..."

date: October 14, 2003

Graphics: B, in all it's glamour. Total slaughter of Clay City. Light effects are fantastic. Once again you impress me again, I've got to give it 10 again. (10)

Sound: The music during SBC's slaughter was awesome and the voice acting was once again great with one exception - Raspberry Clock's Pube Muppet voice. Scares me that voice. (9)

Humour: I have no idea what the hell SBC clock said in the beginning with the Legomen but it gave me a chuckle. Still doesn't beat Tricky though. (5)

Interactivity: N/A

Violence: The violence was quite tame in this one as the music gives a black fade in it. So in a way though there's no violence, the fade was quite effective. (4)

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: Although this episode didn't really have as big action as the last two, the graphics again makes me give this a 10. The graphics are so awesome and it's the main reason why people are loving this series so far. Also it's great as it is bringing the plot to the grand finale in the next episode. Everything is ready now. Knox, Clocks, VGDC, Legomen (they've only got themselves to blame for this) and with a possibility of Joe Zombie or Tricky returning or someone else coming into the mix, the result is very hard to pick. To me, it's going to end up between Clocks and Knox. VGDC hasn't really done much to impress me. The Legomen really has no point winning the King of the Portal, they wanted peace and order. Although it does come to my other prediction. Maybe the winner will be ... Tom Fulp? Hard to see but anything could happen. Good job.

Battle for the Portal Pt2

"Great, but Ep 1 was better"

date: October 12, 2003

Graphics: Joe Zombie's car destruction, clocks with guns, Lego men facial expressions. Yes like the first one, this movie has huge props to the graphics and I just love how in the VGDC base the camera angle went around the base and shooted up the sky with clocks ahead. Awesome. (10)

Sound: Again, good voice acting again. It really fits the role. The music was great and of course *sighs* ... the Tricky theme ... (10)

Humour: I believe there was a lot more humour in this one than the last one what with the inclusion of Tricky (thankyou for censoring his manhood). That was definetly an unexpected ending to Joe Zombie, or is it? Whatever next? Pube Muppet?!? Add this with the fact that Strawberry Clock looks funny with pistols, it's a high score this time. (8)

Interactivity: N/A

Violence: This is where it kinda goes down a bit on violence from yesterday. Yes, there was the VGDC/Clock fight at the end but it was quite short and pretty much overshaddowed by the Joe Zombie death scene. But the fight was quite decent like the satelite dish falling off and so while it's good, the fight wasn't as good as yesterday. (7)

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: Another great episode here. Although I kinda prefered Episode 1 better as it had a lot more action but then again this should be pretty much a build up between Clocks, VGDC and Knox with the Legos inbetween and Joe Zombie's situation uncertain. As said before, there was more humour and less action in this film but even though, I'm giving it a 10 purely as I love the graphics and you've put a lot of work into it. Can't wait to see tommorow's episode.

All Your Pie

"Thankyou LG, you've now got me eating pie all day!"

submission: All Your Pie
date: October 11, 2003

Graphics: It's LegendaryFrog, a great animator who puts effort into his flash. What else do you need to know? My favourite part of his graphics is Ark's illusionation, greatly animated. (10)

Sound: The voice acting is great as usual but I just love how the AYB parody was great as well along with that Mario remix in the loader, quite catchy. (9)

Humour: Only LegendaryFrog could try and combine AYB, Simpsons, Star Wars and "Simple and Clean" together and run away with it. The fact that it just gets more bizzare by the minute makes it even funnier. DENTAL PLAN! (10)

Interactivity: Great features at the end including the AYB parody and the Ark/Kerrigan FAQ which really helped me understand more about them. (3)

Violence: N/A

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: Apart from One Ring 2, this is my favourite LegendaryFrog movie due to it's many features to add along with this hilarious movie. Without a doubt, it gives me an honour to give you the Full Monty. Btw, thanks for making me now eat pie for the rest of the day lol.

The Return of Ganondorf

"Another great movie from LF"

date: October 11, 2003

Graphics: Just like most of your movies, your animation was great and you really put a lot of emotion into the characters, which I like. It's no suprise why you're a favoured artist on NG. (10)

Sound: The voice acting was great as usual as well and I like that, there wasn't else much to it except a few music clips. Although, it's still great. (7)

Humour: Now here's something I might as well just admit. I'm not a huge Zelda fan. In fact I don't know much about the game series but the movie has a great plot that I could easily get into. It's just funny how Link was going all psycho near the end, how Ganondorf was a changed man and of course, the Chicken Dance! Even though, I thought it was quite a bit short to me and I kinda liked One Ring To Rule Them All 2 to this just because of it's length and Leonard Nemoy. Either way, it's a great laugh. (8)

Interactivity: Try rewinding and you get "If you can see this message, you need to get broadband" and I am in a few days lol. I have to give a point to that. (1)

Violence: One slap is better than none in the violence factor lol. (1)

Style: I usually combine that with the Overall because I believe a good movie must have good style with it.

-----

Overall: This is another great movie from Legendary Frog and he obviously never lets us down with it. Although I still prefer One Ring 2 than this, I still like this movie with Link's psychotic detirmination that Ganondorf was still evil. Great movie and keep up the work, you're what makes NG so great.
